FixIt Parts ("we", "us") sells OEM replacement parts for home appliances. This policy explains what information we collect to process and fulfill your orders, how we use and protect it, and your choices. We are committed to data minimization — we collect and retain only what is necessary to fulfill your order.

Information we collect

• Order information from the marketplace (e.g., Amazon): order ID, the item/part ordered, quantity, and price.
• Shipping & contact information needed to deliver your order: your name, shipping address, and (where applicable) an email used for order-related messages.

We do not collect payment card details — payments are handled by the marketplace.

How we use it

• To process your order, confirm the correct part for your appliance, and ship it to you.
• To communicate with you about your order (e.g., to confirm your appliance model/serial for compatibility).
• To provide tracking and support.

How we share it

We share your shipping name and address only with our authorized parts distributor, solely so they can ship your ordered part to you on our behalf, transmitted securely (TLS). We share shipment tracking back to the marketplace. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it with any other third parties.

Data retention & security

We practice data minimization: customer personal information is not stored in our systems beyond what is needed to fulfill the order — it is retrieved on demand at the time of fulfillment and not retained afterward. Information in transit is encrypted (TLS). Access is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis, protected by authenticated logins and audit logging.

Your choices

You may contact us to ask about the information associated with your order or to request assistance. Marketplace account and payment data are managed through your marketplace account.
